Medicare part D is for prescription drug coverage that can be purchased through a private insurance company as a standalone drug plan, or you can get the drug coverage from an all in one Medicare advantage plan.

The Medicare advantage plans are offered through private insurance companies. They are contracted by the federal government and sometimes they are also called Medicare part C plans.
Many of the private insurance companies choose to offer plans with a zero $0 no cost or affordable plan premiums.
And many of them include the prescription drugs. Some of them also include dental, vision, hearing, gym memberships, grocery benefits, utility benefits, and more depending on your service area and what you qualify for.
They are both governmental health programs, but Medicare is generally for those who are 65 years of age or older are on Medicare due to a disability. While Medicaid is a state government program for people with limited income.

Depending on your level of Medicaid, you may pay nothing for any medical or hospital services and  also qualify for several different services like dental vision, hearing, utility bills, transportation, rental assistance, grocery benefit, over-the-counter OTC, implants dentures, and so much more.

These plans are for people that have been diagnosed with a chronic condition like high blood pressure, diabetes, ESRD end stage renal disease, heart issues and more.

These plans may pick up all or most of the cost that original Medicare doesn’t pay. Like co-pays, deductibles and coinsurance. These plans also allow you to see any doctor of your choice (no network) they are also portable they go where you go, so that you can travel. These plans are also predictable. You know exactly what your cost will be with most services.

GiveBack benefit is the reduction offered by some of the private insurance companies that offers the Medicare advantage/Medicare part C plans.
